Hello, my name is Alexandros Kottis.

I’m 26 years old, based in Thessaloniki Greece, and I’ve been working as a freelance designer for the past two and a half years, with around 95% of my projects focused on branding.

Over the past few years, it has grown alongside my personal brand, Whimsy Monster, where I openly document my journey as a designer, sharing thoughts, experiments, and lessons learned in real time. Alongside client work, I actively support other creatives through educational content, one-to-one sessions, and a growing newsletter community of over 1000+ subscribed designers and creatives.

The studio focuses primarily on brand identity work for early-stage startups and growing businesses across Europe, often working closely with founders and small product teams. My role often sits somewhere between brand designer and strategic partner, helping companies shape not only how they look, but how they communicate and position themselves as they grow.
